Campground overview

50 Acres Campground
This spacious campground is one of the liveliest areas at Sonoma Raceway. Known for its party atmosphere, it’s a favorite among groups, RV owners, and tent campers looking for a high-energy weekend. The sites are roughly 20 by 40 feet and sit on a mix of gravel, dirt, and grass surfaces.

While the campground doesn’t offer full hookups, you’ll have access to key services like restrooms, showers (for a fee), water fill-ups, and pump-out service. Quiet hours are enforced from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., and security and shuttle access are available throughout the event.

Additional on-site activities and fan experiences are often part of the fun here. Access is through Gate 3, but final crossing hours will be confirmed closer to race weekend. Check back for updates.

Tent Camping
This new camping area gives race fans a simple, budget-friendly way to stay right in the heart of the action. Open from Thursday morning through Monday at noon, it’s designed for tents only, with individual spaces measuring about 25 by 20 feet on a mix of grass and dirt.

While it's dry camping, basic amenities are provided, including restrooms, paid showers, and security. Shuttle service makes it easy to get around the facility, and exclusive activities add to the weekend experience. The vibe here leans social and energetic, with quiet hours in place from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The Chute Campground
Located right alongside the fast-paced Chute at Turn 4A, this premium campground offers some of the best views on the property. It's one of the newest additions to Sonoma Raceway and puts you close to the action without giving up comfort.

Each site is 20 by 40 feet with a paved surface, suitable for RVs, trailers, pop-ups, and tents. This area includes access to restrooms, security, paid showers, water fill-ups, and pump-out service. Wi-Fi is also available, and shuttle service helps you reach other parts of the facility with ease.

The Chute Campground delivers a high-end experience in a lively yet well-maintained setting. Quiet hours are in effect from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., but during race hours, expect plenty of curb-hopping and side-by-side racing just outside your door.

Carousel Campground
Tucked inside the iconic Carousel section of the track near Turns 5, 6, and 7, this campground offers a one-of-a-kind experience with 360-degree views of the action. You’ll see cars from multiple angles as they twist through one of Sonoma Raceway’s most technical and exciting sections.

It’s a dry camping zone, but essential amenities are provided, including restrooms, security, and shuttle access. Showers, water fill-ups, and pump-out services are available for an additional fee.

The Point Campground
Designed for fans who want a more refined camping experience, this premium campground offers a well-maintained setting with easy access to the track and fan amenities. It's ideal for RVs, trailers, popups, and tents, with each site measuring approximately 20 by 40 feet on a gravel and dirt surface.

Though it's a dry campground with no hookups, all the essentials are covered—restrooms, showers, security, and shuttle service are available throughout the weekend. Water fill-ups and pump-out services are offered for a fee, and exclusive activities help round out the experience.

Extra tip: Camper Appreciation Party

A special event for campers will take place on Friday, July 11, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Speedway Experience stage in the Fan Zone (this applies to the 2025 race weekend).

Guests can enjoy live music, interactive activities, and appearances by special guests. Free beer and Coca-Cola products will be available while supplies last. It’s a relaxed way for fans staying on-site to unwind and enjoy the evening.

Arrival and access

Campgrounds open on Thursday before the event. RV lots must be cleared by Monday at noon following the race weekend. Early arrival is strongly encouraged to avoid traffic and get set up smoothly.
