FAN ZONES

​The main Fan Zone at Sonoma Raceway is free for all guests and is conveniently located near the main grandstand. It’s the perfect place to grab some food, cool off, meet drivers, and enjoy extra entertainment between races.

Here’s what you’ll find within the raceway facilities:

• Portacool cooling stations: To help fans beat the heat, there are nine Portacool Cooling Stations set up around the raceway, including seating areas at Turns 2, 4, 7, and 9. You’ll also find them near the Ticket Pit Stop information booth and the main paddock shuttle stop. These stations use evaporative cooling to provide a nice break from the warm weather.
• Stand-up bars and picnic tables: Sonoma Raceway has nearly 200 feet of stand-up bars made from Humboldt Redwood, located under the main grandstand and at The RevZone near Turn 7. It’s a great spot to grab a drink, some food, and either cool off in the shade or enjoy views of the track. You’ll also find 14 redwood picnic tables under the grandstand if you prefer to sit and relax.
• Improved public address system: The raceway recently upgraded its PA system, so you’ll hear clearer, better-quality announcements and race commentary around the track without blocking your view. Over 160 new speakers now cover the seating areas and paddock zones.
• The RevZone at Turn 7: The RevZone is a fan-favorite spot overlooking Turn 7, one of the most action-packed corners on the course. It features a 3,100-square-foot permanent restroom building, a shade tent with picnic tables, a variety of food and drinks, and live entertainment. Access to the RevZone is included with any race ticket.
• Grill gardens: Above Turns 2 and 9, you’ll find additional relaxing areas called Grill Gardens. These shaded redwood structures give you a place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and take a break from the sun while still keeping an eye on the action.

Plus, the Fan Zone will also offer access to popular NASCAR drivers for meet-and-greet sessions and autographs, giving fans a great chance to get up close with their favorite stars.
