Sonoma Raceway provides a variety of services to ensure that guests with disabilities can enjoy their visit comfortably. Accessible parking is available through Gate 1 off Highway 121. There are two main ADA parking areas: the lower lot is specifically for guests using wheelchairs, while the upper lot serves others with mobility challenges. To park in these areas, guests must present a valid handicap placard, registration, and a matching driver’s license. Local law enforcement verifies these documents at the entrance.
Once parked, guests will receive color-coded wristbands that allow access to elevators and designated accessible seating areas. Those with solid wristbands are given priority for services like shuttle transport. Each person with a disability may be accompanied by one individual with a matching wristband, while additional companions receive striped wristbands.
Wheelchair-accessible shuttles operate throughout the event and stop at various information tents and key points across the venue. These tents also provide aid and directions. Guests may bring personal mobility devices such as scooters, but they must be intended for individual use and related to a disability.
Accessible seating is offered for both wheelchair users and semi-ambulatory individuals, along with space for an attendant. Sonoma Raceway recommends booking tickets in advance to secure these areas. For specific seating needs, guests can contact the ticket office at 800-870-RACE (7223).
Service animals that are trained to assist individuals with disabilities are allowed throughout the facility, including in seating and pit areas. They must be leashed or always harnessed.
