RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other NASCAR events, Sonoma Raceway visitors must abide by the rules set by the organizers. Below you will find a basic overview of them:

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, items that could damage property, interfere with the event, or pose a safety risk are strictly prohibited. This includes unauthorized merchandise or tickets intended for resale. All guests will go through a security check before entering. Anyone who refuses to follow these procedures may be denied entry without a refund.

Please be aware that certain items are not permitted in the event area. The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

• Aerosol cans (excluding sunscreen, sunblock, hand sanitizer, and insect repellent)
• Alcohol of any kind
• Balloons, frisbees, or any other throwing objects
• Bicycles, hoverboards, inline skates, and skateboards
• Confederate flag displays
• Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
• Dry ice
• Fireworks and sky lanterns
• Foam or hard-sided coolers of any size
• Glass or ceramic containers
• Lawn chairs and stadium seats with legs (seat cushions must lie flat)
• Laser pointers, air horns, and noise makers
• Selfie sticks
• Tripods and monopods (solid or collapsible)
• Umbrellas in the seating areas
• Wagons
• Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives, stun guns, and pepper spray)

WHAT CAN YOU BRING WITH YOU?

To make your NASCAR event day hassle-free, we suggest packing light and bringing only what you truly need. Essentials include your phone, some cash or a card, a backup battery for your camera, and your ticket for each day you’re attending. Also, be sure to carry a valid ID for yourself and any kids coming with you.

Bag policy
Each guest may bring up to two (2) bags through the entry gates. While clear bags are encouraged for quicker screening, they are not mandatory. Backpacks, tote bags, and other non-clear bags are allowed, provided they do not exceed 18" x 18" x 14" in size. Soft-sided coolers are also permitted, with a maximum size of 14" x 14" x 14".

Own food policy

• Guests may bring their own food and drinks (no glass) into the grandstands
• Limit of two bags per person, each no larger than 18"x18"x14"
• One soft-sided cooler per guest is allowed (max 14"x14"x14")
• Cooling tip: Freeze plastic water bottles before arrival to keep items cold

Service animals

• Welcome throughout the property
• Must remain leashed or harnessed at all times
• Emotional support animals are not permitted
• Guests must bring their own pet waste bags
• Wheelchair seating is available to accommodate service animals
